Stacy Kostiuk, DVM, MPH HumaneVMA INDIANA STATE REPRESENTATIVE
Dr. Stacy Kostiuk grew up in northern Illinois and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2004. She went on to receive both her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Illinois in 2009 and 2010.
Following graduation, Dr. Kostiuk practiced in the Chicago suburbs before spending seven years in southwest Michigan. She now resides in Indiana, where she serves as Lead Veterinarian and Assistant Director at Animal Care Alliance. In this role, she is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care while advancing access to care for underserved communities.
Dr. Kostiuk has a strong interest in spectrum-of-care medicine and works closely with pet owners to develop practical, individualized treatment plans that meet both medical needs and financial realities. She is also passionate about building sustainable programs through partnerships with local governments, nonprofit organizations, and community stakeholders, as well as through grant funding and fundraising initiatives.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Kostiuk enjoys spending time with her husband, three daughters, and their two Irish Wolfhounds. Her hobbies include baking, traveling, hiking, reading, and creating meaningful family experiences.
